319. PRAYER.

My roommates and I can be a bit ridiculous sometimes. We joke around a lot and goof off and can just act real dumb sometimes. But there's one thing we're serious about and that's prayer. Usually about once a week or so, we try to pray together for each other before we go to bed. Anytime one of us has a crisis or something, we take it directly to God. We don't hesitate or even have to ask each other to pray for us - it just comes naturally. We've laid hands on each other and rebuked Satan from attacking us in some of our hardest times at Liberty.
Being with at LU and rooming with Ariel and Sarah has taught me the power that prayer has. Jesus wasn't joking around when He told us to pray. He told us that prayer is powerful and He was totally right. I've seen so many of our prayers answered while I've been at LU. God really listens. He wants to take care of us and He wants us to cry out to Him. He wants to answer our prayers.
Prayer is just an incredible thing and I've really learned that while being with Sarah and Ariel. I'm starting to put 1 Thessalonians 5:17 into practice, "pray continually"... some versions say, "never stop praying"... Y'all should do that because it's fantastically life changing.
