I'm so excited for today! I can't wait to see what God's going to do!
This break... was amazing. I came back to everything I learned in São Paulo about God and what Jesus was about and all of that stuff. I had forgotten everything I learned and tried just to blend into Liberty and be a Liberty student. However, I learned so much my senior year and now it's time for me not to follow my Dad or Jr or Chris Black or anyone. ZOE taught me so much and really helped me grow, but today God told me that it's time to do it on my own. I'm ready.
One of my very best friends gave me a drawing today that reminded me of who God made me to be. I don't think she meant to, but today Ariel inspired me and let God speak through her amazing artistic abilities.
Trees and butterflies mean so much to me. I have a tattoo of a butterfly whose name is Hope and before I left Brasil my friend read me Isaiah 61:1-3. The picture that Ariel drew for me incorporated both of these things and, I don't know, God was just reminding me of why I'm here and what I'm supposed to do while I'm living. To go.
Go to the brokenhearted and tell them there is Comfort.
Go to the captives and tell them there is Freedom.
Go to the prisoners and tell them there is Release.
Go to the sad and sorrowing and tell them there is a Crown to replace their ashes.
I was meant to go.
Every time I go to a church or anything really, I only meet Liberty students. However, there are three colleges in Lynchburg. So today I'm going to prayer walk Central Virginia Community College. Prayer opens doors. When ZOE thought they weren't allowed on Senac's campus, they prayer walked. And God let them in. And now deep friendships were made and they are hearing about God and the love He has. Today I'm praying that God will do the same thing at CVCC.
I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what God has in store.
